The Medicube Azelaic Acid Exosome Shot 7500 is an intensive Korean treatment serum developed for experienced spicule users with blemishes, excess sebum, enlarged pores, post-acne marks and persistent uneven texture.

Its advanced formula combines a higher concentration of naturally derived microscopic spicules with azelaic acid, 5% niacinamide and milk exosomes. The spicules create a characteristic tingling sensation as they stimulate the skin’s surface and enhance contact with the formula’s active ingredients.

Azelaic acid and niacinamide help improve the appearance of blemishes, post-acne discolouration, redness and uneven tone. Betaine salicylate supports clearer-looking pores, while Centella Asiatica, ceramide and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid help soothe, hydrate and reinforce the moisture barrier.

The 7500 version provides stronger stimulation than Shot 2000 and is recommended for less-sensitive skin or customers who have already developed tolerance to spicule-based skincare.

Benefits

  • Helps reduce the appearance of blemishes and post-acne marks
  • Visibly improves rough and uneven skin texture
  • Helps regulate excess sebum
  • Refines the appearance of enlarged pores
  • Supports clearer and more balanced-looking skin
  • Helps improve visible redness and uneven tone
  • Provides more intensive stimulation than Shot 2000
  • Supports hydration and the skin’s protective barrier

How Does It Work?

The formula contains naturally derived microscopic spicules obtained from hydrolysed sponge. When massaged into the skin, these particles create a temporary prickling or tingling sensation and provide intensive surface stimulation.

Despite sometimes being described as “microneedles” or “liquid microneedling,” these particles are not medical needles, and the product is not equivalent to professional microneedling.

The number 7500 indicates the stronger spicule intensity level. It should not be interpreted as meaning that the serum contains 7.5% azelaic acid.

Key Ingredients

  • Azelaic Acid: Helps improve blemishes, visible redness, post-acne discolouration and uneven tone.
  • Niacinamide 5%: Supports sebum regulation, brighter-looking skin and a stronger moisture barrier.
  • Milk Exosomes: Form part of the product’s skin-conditioning and targeted delivery system.
  • Hydrolysed Sponge Spicules: Provide intensive stimulation and create the characteristic tingling sensation.
  • Betaine Salicylate: Gently removes pore-clogging dead skin cells and helps refine texture.
  • Centella Asiatica Complex: Helps soothe stressed skin and support its recovery.
  • Ceramide NP: Reinforces the skin barrier and reduces moisture loss.
  • Multi-Hyaluronic Acid Complex: Provides hydration across different layers of the skin’s surface.
  • Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate: Helps calm visible irritation and discomfort.
  • Adenosine: Supports smoother and healthier-looking skin.

Suitable For

Recommended for combination, oily and blemish-prone skin experiencing:

  • Persistent blemishes
  • Post-acne marks
  • Excess sebum
  • Enlarged or congested pores
  • Uneven and rough texture
  • Dull or uneven skin tone

It is best suited to less-sensitive skin or experienced spicule users. Beginners and sensitive skin should start with Medicube Azelaic Acid Exosome Shot 2000.

How to Use

Use during your evening skincare routine.

After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Gently pat or lightly massage with your fingertips until absorbed.

Follow with a gentle hydrating serum or moisturiser containing ceramides, panthenol, hyaluronic acid or Centella Asiatica.

Begin with one or two applications per week. If the skin tolerates it comfortably, gradually increase to a maximum of two or three evenings weekly. Always apply broad-spectrum sunscreen the following morning.

Important Usage Advice

  • Patch test before the first application.
  • Do not use on damaged, irritated or sunburned skin.
  • Avoid the eye and lip areas.
  • Do not apply immediately after shaving, waxing or professional treatments.
  • Avoid physical scrubs, peeling products, strong acids, retinoids or other spicule treatments in the same routine.
  • Avoid using it immediately before or after a professional microneedling, laser or chemical-peel treatment.
  • Do not press or massage aggressively—the increased discomfort does not mean increased effectiveness.
  • Medicube advises users unfamiliar with spicules not to combine these products with AGE-R beauty devices.
  • Stop using it if you experience persistent burning, swelling, rash or significant irritation.

Basic FAQs

What is the difference between Shot 2000 and Shot 7500?

Is tingling normal?

Is it suitable for beginners?
No. Customers who have never used spicule skincare should begin with Shot 2000 and move to 7500 only after confirming that their skin tolerates this technology.

Can it be used every day?
Daily use is not recommended when first introducing the product. Start once or twice weekly and adjust according to skin tolerance.
